UBMP4.3 is the newest version of our open hardware and open source development board for learning or teaching PICmicro programming in C using almost any device – including Chromebooks!
Build your own UBMP4.3 by starting with a bare printed circuit board. Refer to the UBMP4 page for complete schematics, a parts list, the bootloader software, and other resources.
You will need a stand-alone PIC programmer to program your board or to pre-load the USB µC bootloader into your microcontroller. Or, check out our UBMP4-PIC bundle that includes a PIC16F1459 microcontroller pre-programmed with the bootloader, or the UBMP4-KIT including all of the parts.
