ARPS-2 have everything a beginner needs to get started with one of those Arduino UNO boards you still have in your parts bin, including pushbuttons, LEDs, a piezo beeper, and a temperature sensor to help get them started. After mastering the basics, add the motor driver IC, voltage divider resistors, and populate the break-away optical line and floor sensor modules to make line-following or floor sensing robots. Add an ultrasonic SONAR module and the IR demodulator, and you and your friend can build Sumo and remotely-controlled robots!
