CHRP4 Bare Board

Use CHRP4 to build your own line-following, obstacle-sensing, and Sumo robots! CHRP4 is a robotics-focused variant of UBMP4, our open hardware and open source development board for learning or teaching microcontroller programming. Now, you can use CHRP4 to to build your own robot as you learn about microcontroller programming.

Build your own CHRP4 by starting with a bare printed circuit board. Refer to the CHRP4 page for complete schematics, a parts list, the bootloader software, and other resources.

You will need a stand-alone PIC programmer to program your board or to pre-load the USB µC bootloader into your microcontroller. Or, check out our CHRP4-PIC bundle that includes a PIC16F1459 microcontroller pre-programmed with the bootloader, or the CHRP4-KIT which includes all of the parts you will need to build the brains of your next robot.
